Easy Baked Salmon with Orange Ginger Glaze: A Recipe from Our Weight Loss Program

Are you looking for a tasty and healthy recipe that aligns with your weight loss goals? We’re excited to share one of our favorite recipes from our weight loss program that is both satisfying and nutrient-packed. The dish not only supports your weight loss journey but also offers a burst of flavors to keep your meals exciting and enjoyable. 

RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 individual portions of salmon
  • 2 individual portions of salmon
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Orange glaze:

  • 1 tsp of orange zest
  • 1/2 cup of fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 1 tbsp of coconut aminos
  • 2 tbsp of water
  • 1 inch ginger root (or frozen cube from Trader Joe’s)
  • 1 tsp honey (optional) 

DIRECTIONS:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees 
  • Season Salmon with salt and pepper to taste and 1 tbsp of olive oil per salmon filet
  • Place salmon on parchment paper lined baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes 

For glaze:

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth 
  • Top baked salmon with glaze
  • Serve over greens of choice or with a side of roasted veggies and enjoy!
