High dietary zinc could lower prostate cancer mortality.

In a recent population based study, researchers found an association between lower prostate cancer mortality and high dietary intake of zinc (more than 15.6 mg daily) compared with low dietary intake of zinc (9-12mg daily), particularly in men with localized tumors.  Food sources include raw pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, turkey and yogurt.
