Sweating It Out for Health & Natural Detoxification

The skin is the body’s largest organ, and through perspiration, it plays a big part in helping the body detox and renew itself. If you find yourself suffering while sweating it out at the gym, outdoors or in the sauna, remember that you’re doing a great deed for your overall health.

Sweating is the way our bodies keep themselves from overheating, and when we perspire, we expel toxins and even disease from our system. Many viruses and bacteria can’t live in temperatures above 98.6, so in many cases, sweating literally burns away illness.

Saunas are a great way to “sweat it out,” and have been used for centuries by many Healers to treat illnesses. The newer Far Infrared Saunas stimulate the body at a cellular level so toxins deep in tissues can be eliminated. These saunas are able to heat the body while the air stays cool, resulting in a more pleasant experience. Due to the deep penetration of infrared rays, a heating effect is observed deep in the muscular tissues and even into the internal organs.
This “deep heating,” along with sweating, is thought to be responsible for the healing effects and the other health benefits associated with these infrared rays.

Conventional saunas pull sweat out of the body, whereas far Infrared energy penetrates up to 3 inches into the body and PUSHES sweat out of the body. As the body is heated from the inside out, it forces the toxins out through the skin. A great example of infrared heat is the sun. The warmth of the heat on your skin you feel on a cold sunny day is far infrared energy. Far infrared waves vibrate at the same frequency as we do, which is why they are able to penetrate into the flesh and warm you up internally. Far infrared sauna therapy is said to duplicate the healthy frequencies of our own cells.

Another benefit of Far Infrared technology is that the the temperature is typically between 90۫ – 120۫ F versus a traditional sauna which operates between 180۫ -220۫ F. Despite operating at a lower temperature, you will typically perspire more in infrared saunas. The infrared energy penetrates the body at a much deeper level which induces 2-3 times the sweat volume as conventional saunas. The benefits of this deep penetrating heat includes:

-Weight Loss

-Detoxify Effect – improve health by ridding your body of toxins

-Cardiovascular conditioning – can decrease heart failure and hypertension

-Alleviates Muscle and Joint Pain – great for arthritis and rheumatism sufferers.

-Relieves Stress – will leave you feeling rejuvenated

-Helps Skin Problems; helps heal scars, burns, acne, eczema, psoriasis
