Cleansing Is Not Skin Deep!

In today’s society very few medical therapies are taboo in discussion, yet you do not hear the topic of  colonic hydrotherapy come up in conversation very often. Consequently, not much is known about this cleansing and efficacious treatment. The Center for Natural and Integrative Medicine plans to bring you information about this type of  treatment in a seminar on October 4th. Powerful, natural and healing, this treatment is often misunderstood.

Mark Your Calendars: Colonic Hydrotherapy Seminar!

Colonic hydrotherapy has helped patients with problems such as fatigue, bowel obstruction, and intestinal parasites. You probably know that bacteria and waste products can accumulate in your intestines. Colonic hydrotherapy is all about cleansing out these toxins.

Patients have discovered beneficial effects on their immune systems The treatment has even been known to improve clear mental functioning, and act as a preventative to disease and illness.

This procedure is medical; it is more than an enema and you should not believe you can do it yourself effectively.

Experts tell us, “With the application of colonics, a gradual shift in eating habits, and careful consideration of the level of health we previously fostered, we can relieve minor symptoms and potentially heal life-threatening diseases. Over time (and often immediately after a session) you will experience mental clarity, increased energy, improved vision, good digestion, and a balanced nervous system.”

Come to the seminar and earn more about the benefits of having colonic hydrotherapy with an experienced hydro-therapist, sterile equipment, and a safe environment. Mark your calendar for our seminar, Colonic Hydrotherapy, Saturday, October 4th, at the Center for Natural and Integrative medicine.

Of course, if you are considering colonic hydrotherapy, we advise you to check with your primary care-physician first, to make certain you have no condition which would prevent it from being a healthy choice of treatment for you.

What Can You Wear With Your Pink Tee-shirt for Breast Cancer Awareness?

As the Center for Natural and Integrative Medicine prepares for the pink ribbons of October, we can not help but notice there is almost a secondary color involved in Breast Cancer Awareness–denim blue. We say this because the Lee National Denim Day is coming on Oct. 3, 2014.

This is a fundraiser, which a noticeable number of Florida companies have joined, and it is sponsored by Lee® Jeans. In this clever campaign, participants donate five or more dollars in “exchange for wearing jeans to work.”

Lee National Denim Day began in 1996. Almost unbelievably; it has raised over $91 million dollars for the fight against breast cancer. In their first year, 3,000 companies signed up, and they raised 1 million dollars,

and the program has continued to grow. As you might imagine, funds will support the American Cancer Society® and their breast cancer programs and services.

Join Lee Jeans and the American Cancer Society in the movement to rise above breast cancer by donating $5 or more today. Your donation helps the American Cancer Society discover new ways to prevent, find and cure breast cancer while ensuring access to mammograms and providing free support to people affected by the disease.

“It all started when several Lee Jeans employees realized that each of them, in one form or another, had been touched by breast cancer. An everyday conversation sparked an idea and led to the creation of Lee National Denim Day, which has become one of the largest single–day fundraisers nationwide for breast cancer awareness.”

A Few Facts You Might Not Know:

1. The American Cancer Society has been helping cancer patients of all types for over 100 years.

2. The American Cancer Society “invests more in breast cancer research than any other cancer and has played a role in nearly every major breast cancer research breakthrough in recent history.”

3. The American Cancer Society is here 24/7 with information and emotional support.

4. Breast cancer fact, is the number one reason people call the Society each year.

So, now you know why your accountant, lawyer, banker, and even your doctor might be wearing his or her casual denim look soon!
